LISTEN TO GREEK FIRE HERE

From the din of sweaty rock clubs to the grandeur of blockbuster films, Greek Fire has never been interested in simply being a rock band.

Formed in St. Louis in 2008 by singer/guitarist Moon Valjean (formerly of Story of the Year), guitarist Ryan Phillips and drummer Johnny Venus, Greek Fire built its identity around visceral, cinematic rock, soaring melodies, massive ambition and the belief that music should feel bigger than the room it's being played in.

Across Deus Ex Machina, Lost, Broken and years of explosive live shows, the band developed a fiercely loyal following while its music traveled far beyond the stage. But Greek Fire has never fit neatly into someone else's definition of what a rock band is supposed to be.

Then, silence.

Now, Greek Fire is turning the lights back on.

A new era finds the band pushing further into the collision of music, film and theatre. Where a concert isn't simply a collection of songs, but a story. Where imagery matters as much as sound, and the line between the stage and the audience begins to disappear.

At the center of it all remains the thing that has always driven Greek Fire. Songs about being human

Hope / fear

Belief / doubt

Failure / redemption

The uncomfortable space between two extremes and the search for something true within it.

The slash has always represented that choice.

Either / Or

But maybe the truth has always lived somewhere in between.

Greek Fire now works on a new record that will arrive in 2027 via Nettwerk Music Group with a current lineup of Moon Valjean, Johnny Venus, Chris Hobbs and Brian Smith
